That's what we kept waiting for. And when we realized nobody was building it, we decided to build it ourselves.

At Perfectly Me Living, we've spent nearly two decades cheering for young people — helping them discover their hero identity and reminding them that who they are is enough. The M.O.M. is that same energy, turned toward the woman who shows up for everyone else.
Moms deserve to be encouraged. Moms deserve to be supported. Moms deserve a room full of people on their feet, cheering them on. That's what The M.O.M. is built to be.

The M.O.M. — Mom's Open Mic — is a curated live performance event featuring moms from our community who auditioned for the chance to take the stage and share their talent. Spoken word. Comedy. Storytelling. Whatever she's been carrying inside her that she finally gets to put down — right in front of a room full of women who understand.
This isn't amateur night. Our performers are selected through a real audition process, supported in their preparation, and celebrated on a real stage. The audience comes for the performances and stays for the feeling — which is something like: I'm not alone. I'm not invisible. And tonight someone finally said so out loud.

Performers submit an audition interest form
Any mom with something to share — a song, a story, a set, a poem — submits an interest form. We want to know who you are, what you do, and why you're ready for this stage.

We hold in-person auditions in Baltimore
Selected applicants are invited to audition in person. Our team curates a lineup that represents the full range of what moms in our community have to offer.

Performers are supported and prepared
This isn't show up and figure it out. Selected performers get communication, preparation support, and everything they need to arrive at the stage feeling ready.

Audience members buy tickets and come as they are
No dress code. No agenda. Just moms — and anyone who loves them — showing up to spend a night being seen, entertained, and celebrated.

The M.O.M. was built for you. We accept performers across every type of talent, and the only requirement is that you're a mom who's ready to show up.

Auditions are held in person in Baltimore. Submitting an interest form is just the first step — it doesn't commit you to anything. It tells us you're interested, and we'll be in touch with everything you need to know.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The earlier you submit, the better your chances for the October 2 show.
