A Hooray Worth Celebrating

This morning, five campers from Gems & Gents Dance Academy showed up at RPCS with a mission: to give a big, joyful HOORAY to our Bracelets for Good Committee.
All summer long, the BGC girls have been making and selling string bracelets — knot by knot, sale by sale — to buy snacks for the campers at G&G. That's kindness you can tie with your own two hands. And then the G&G girls decided to show their appreciation with a huge HOORAY including pom poms!
But here's the best part: after the hooray, the two groups didn't just wave and head home. They sat down together over apple juice and muffins (allergen-free, of course) and did the thing that turns strangers into friends — they got to know each other.
They compared favorite snacks (turns out we have some serious cucumber fans — and a pro tip from Clara: cucumbers with soy sauce). They dreamed up their perfect pets, real and made-up, including one future giraffe owner. And in a stunning upset, only two brave souls confessed to liking pineapple on pizza.
What a fun morning surprise — two groups of powerful, talented girls discovering just how much they have in common.
A huge thank-you to Ms. Sabb for bringing her team out to make it happen. This is what it looks like when kindness comes full circle. And gratitude is a verb!
